Logistics Customer Service

Role requirements

• Age: 25-30 years old
• Located in or close to Powai, Mumbai, India
• Language requirements: English, Hindi, Marati *** HINDI is mandatory ***
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport or International Business Administration
• Proven experience as a Logistics Specialist or in a similar role (Supply Chain, Export/Import, Procurement, Sales, Planning, etc)
• Strong knowledge of transportation processes, supply chain management, and planning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Functional

• Oversee and manage logistics operations for both international and domestic shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues that arise during transit.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and key metrics.
