LOGISTICS FOR THE INDUSTRIOUS

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our logistics team in a multifaceted role combining logistics coordination, customer service, and operational data management. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient shipment processing, maintaining strong client relationships, and accurately building and managing load data for transportation operations.
Logistics Coordination

Schedule, track, and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to optimize routing and capacity.

Monitor and resolve operational issues, including delays, missed pickups, or delivery discrepancies.
Customer Service

Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status, scheduling, and issue resolution.

Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.

Maintain positive customer relationships and uphold company service standards.
Data Entry & Load Building

Accurately input shipment details, customer information, and operational data into the transportation management system (TMS) or internal databases.

Build loads and optimize capacity planning to maximize efficiency.

Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Analysis

Generate and review reports related to shipments, carrier performance, and operational metrics.

Identify trends or issues in logistics operations and propose improvements

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.

Previous experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, or data entry.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with TMS systems preferred.

Requirements:
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent
REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.):

Ability to work and communicate effectively with others promoting to promote a team environment
