Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused
Logistics
Customer Service Representative
to support operations by managing customer inquiries, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate order processing. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints related to work orders, shipments, and inventory.

Schedule inbound and outbound appointments using the Dock Management System (DMS).

Serve as the liaison between customers, brokers, freight forwarders, warehouse operations, and accounting for invoicing and credit adjustments.

Ensure accurate invoicing by processing and verifying computer-generated invoices.

Prepare and manage all documentation for customer orders, including special requests, order tracking, and inventory updates.

Review orders to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Research issues, gather supporting documentation, obtain approvals, and process credits/debits as needed.

Provide general clerical support, including filing, answering phones, operating office equipment, and greeting visitors.

Provide coverage for team members as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:

Accurately enter orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Adhere to all safety rules and protocols.

Support organizational objectives by performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Internet usage.

Strong clerical skills, including file and record management.

Exceptional attention to detail, with a professional and cooperative demeanor under pressure.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ability and willingness to complete a pre-employment basic math skills test, background check, and drug screen.

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with occasional travel offsite.

Use of standard office equipment including telephone, fax, computer, calculator, and copier.

Moderate warehouse noise levels.
Physical and Mental Demands:

Extended periods of sitting with frequent interruptions.

Frequent standing, reaching, bending, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs).

Supervisory Responsibilities:
