Innovative and Fast growing logistics company seeks experienced Customer Service Representative

We are a fast growing logistics company, founded over 40 years ago. We pride ourselves in providing excellent trucking and warehousing services and are seeking to hire a highly experienced Customer Service Rep as soon as possible. This position is responsible for data entry, answering phones, responding to emails, booking pick ups, scheduling appts and tracking drivers. This position is not limited to the supplied details.

The successful candidate must possess great customer service skills, two to five years’ experience preferably in the trucking industry with some dispatch experience. However, we are willing to train if you are willing to learn. A hands-on commitment to getting the job done. Additionally, we need someone who is computer literate and is a fast learner. You must be able to work under pressure and have the ability to stay calm in stressful situations. That being said, our office is a busy and lively place where you'll never be bored! • Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

* Positive mindset
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Timely creation of Bill of Ladings (BOLs)
* Printing orders, BOLs, and labels for the warehouse
* Providing BOLs and photos to customers immediately upon shipment departure
* Prompt customer responses
* Ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
* Timely invoicing of customers after delivery or shipment
* Ensuring timely updates of inbound/outbound shipments in inventory (within 24 hours)* Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and Word
* Accurate entry of shipment details into the system
* Proactively request Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for delayed deliveries/shipments
* Timely ordering of office supplies to prevent stock outs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
