POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics & Delivery Coordinator is a hands-on operational role within ESI’s Warranty & Logistics team, responsible for keeping parts, orders, and equipment moving accurately and on time. Approximately 60% of this role is focused on internal logistics operations — ordering, tracking, and shipping warranty-related parts and equipment — while the remaining 40% involves direct delivery driving to ESI customers across the service area. The right person for this role is organized and detail-oriented in the office, dependable and professional on the road, and takes genuine pride in getting the right thing to the right place at the right time.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics & Parts Operations (approx. 60%)
- Process and submit parts orders for warranty-related repairs and projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, labeling, staging, and shipping parts and equipment.
- Track order status across vendors and carriers, proactively communicating updates to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain an organized inventory of warranty parts and supplies, conducting periodic counts and reconciliations.
- Manage shipping documentation, packing slips, and receiving records with accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and escalate order discrepancies, damaged shipments, or fulfillment issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the Warranty & Logistics Manager and technical teams to prioritize urgent parts needs.
Customer Delivery (approx. 40%)
- Perform scheduled and on-demand deliveries of parts, equipment, and materials to ESI customers throughout the service area.
- Represent ESI professionally during all customer interactions, maintaining a courteous and service-oriented demeanor.
- Verify delivery accuracy prior to departure and obtain appropriate confirmation upon delivery.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch or management regarding schedule changes, delays, or issues encountered in the field.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of assigned delivery vehicle(s), and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery protocols at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driving history subject to review.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver hardware and equipment up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Strong attention to detail in order processing, documentation, and inventory management.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-directed — comfortable managing a variable daily workload with shifting priorities.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-friendly presence in delivery interactions.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a shipping, receiving, logistics, or parts coordination role.
- Familiarity with shipping platforms or order management systems (e.g., FedEx, UPS, or similar).
- Experience in a technology services, field services, or equipment-focused environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
Pay: $27.88 - $32.69 per hour
