Logistics Delivery Driver/Courier (Delivering FedEx)

We are looking for individuals for full time work at our Manassas location. Our Delivery Driver will have the opportunity to deliver Federal Express (FedEx) Corporation to our customers. Seeking focus driven successful drivers who will value safety and customer expectations and satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a professional demeanour and will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the delivery vehicle. Looking for motivated and reliable drivers.

Hours: 8:00am until route completion ** 8hours approx. but is dependent on driver’s efficiency**

Driver Qualifications

· Should expect to work Weekends as part of schedule

· Obtain, Hold, & Maintain- Valid Drivers License, Clean Motor Vehicle Record, DOT Medical Card

· Must be willing to submit to a background check with First Advantage & pass a drug screening

· Comply with applicable local laws & regulations

· Maintain a clean driving record

· Ability to handle physical workload, have a strong work ethic, reliable & prompt

· Physically able to handle up to 70+ lbs not exceeding 150lbs (with assistance of a hand truck)

· Understand we bend, stoop, squat, sweat, hustle and climb in and out of our trucks up to 200+ times a day, in all weather conditions.

Training

Training will be online and hands on. Must complete and pass all parts (Safety Program, Driving Course, and Road Test). Will be followed up with a ride along. Must meet FedEx on road and delivery standards as well as DOT federal rules and regulations.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

· Arrive at designated FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages

· Must conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections

· Delivering packages to the correct destination while accurately scanning and logging package

• You acknowledge and agree that weekends are part of the schedule. (Schedule will be Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs depending upon the route. Or may work both weekend days with alternate days off). NOT a M-F position

Experience:

• Driving a box truck or bigger for full time employment: 1 year (Required)
