Logistics Dispatcher

A competent Truck Dispatcher needs to be highly detailed and work well under pressure to coordinate lots of changing factors. While their main priority is scheduling trucks efficiently,

Dispatcher will work rotation 7 days on 7 days off on call for 24 hours.

Truck Dispatcher job duties include:

Primary Job Functions

• Managing Truck drivers’ schedules and routes
• Scheduling fuel to be picked up and delivered
• Providing shipping details to drivers
• Reviewing logs of drivers
• Documenting all calls, delivers, routes and times for pickups and deliveries
• Handling customer calls

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and laws
• Understanding of how shipping, trucking & logistics work ·
• Analytical stills to problem solve and coordinate difficult situations
• Technology skills, particularly in transport management software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills to clearly relay information to all involved parties
• Ability to stay calm in fast-paced situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Trucking Dispatch: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Casper, WY 82601
