Logistics driver/helper

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Drivers Helper to assist with various transportation and delivery tasks. This role is loading, unloading furniture and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different driving environments. Prior experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the transportation industry while supporting our logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Support drivers in securing loads and verifying delivery paperwork
• Help navigate routes and ensure timely deliveries or pickups
• Perform safety checks on vehicles before trips and report any issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and team members
• Support drivers during transit, including helping with navigation or traffic management as needed
• Assist with moving items within warehouses and or houses as required
• Follow all safety protocols related to commercial vehicle operation and cargo handling

Experience
Candidates with previous experience in delivery driving, shuttle driving, bus driving, or operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbeds are preferred. Experience with heavy equipment operation, forklift use, or warehouse work is advantageous. Familiarity with manual transmissions, heavy haul operations, tanker trucks, or heavy equipment like tow trucks can be beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments are essential. Prior roles involving route driving, freight handling, or military logistics will also be considered valuable. A valid driver’s license appropriate for commercial vehicle operation is required.

The job is a Monday through Friday job. start time is 6am until you8 get done with the last stop. ideal time to get off is around 5pm. will need you to have a drill, if you don't have 1, 1 will be provided until your able to get your own within a month. you will load your truck in the morning for your route and deliver to customers homes/apartments. some deliveries will be drop off but some you will need to put together.
