Libreria La Esquina is seeking a meticulous Logistics Supervisor to manage our media and book distribution operations within the iconic Katara Cultural Village. In this role, you will oversee the seamless flow of literary and multimedia assets from our distribution center to our boutique retail spaces and cultural event pop-ups. This position requires a professional who appreciates the delicate nature of cultural goods and can manage logistics with a "white-glove" approach in a high-profile public setting.

Core Responsibilities

• Inventory Governance: Lead the receiving, cataloging, and shelving of large-scale book shipments, ensuring high-frequency turnover while maintaining zero damage to fragile print and media assets.
• Katara Site Logistics: Coordinate "last-mile" deliveries within the Katara pedestrian zones, managing vehicle access permits and ensuring deliveries are conducted discreetly during off-peak hours.
• Event Logistics: Supervise the mobilization of inventory for book signings, cultural festivals, and exhibitions, ensuring temporary displays are stocked and replenished in real-time.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with international publishers and local distributors to manage shipping timelines and customs clearances for specialized media imports.
• Team Leadership: Manage a dedicated team of handlers and couriers, fostering a culture of precision, care, and silent operational efficiency.

Professional Profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management, with specific experience in retail, media, or library services.
• Proven ability to manage complex inventory systems (WMS) and SKU tracking for high-volume, diverse items.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate logistical movements in restricted-access or high-profile public areas.
• Deep knowledge of Doha’s cultural geography and the specific operational requirements of Katara Cultural Village.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or Spanish proficiency is a significant asset.
