Role Summary
The
Logistics Executive
will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily home sample collection operations, ensuring timely pickups, cold chain compliance, and seamless coordination between logistics teams, labs, and operations.
The role includes executing rider operations, optimizing routes, enforcing SOP adherence, and achieving operational KPIs to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations

Oversee end-to-end sample collection logistics to ensure timely pickup and delivery.

Monitor cold chain compliance and ensure proper temperature-controlled handling of samples.

Allocate routes and schedules to riders to optimize coverage and reduce TAT.
2. Team Management
-
Manage riders/logistics staff, ensuring SOP adherence and punctuality.

Conduct daily briefings on bookings, priorities, productivity, and operational targets.

Support hiring, onboarding, skill development, and training of logistics personnel.
3. Compliance & Quality
-
Ensure full compliance with NABL/ISO/ICMR guidelines and company SOPs.

Track operational KPIs including on-time fulfillment %, route adherence, and handover accuracy.

Ensure proper documentation by riders, including app-based handovers and temperature logs.
4. Coordination & Communication
-
Liaise with sales, operations, and lab teams for smooth sample handling and issue resolution.

Provide real-time updates on delays, missed pickups, and escalations.

Coordinate with vendors/third-party partners to maintain adequate manpower and resources.
5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily MIS reports capturing handover fulfillment, delays, exceptions, and incidents.

Share operational insights and updates with the Manager – Logistics for review and planning.
Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of last-mile logistics or diagnostics operations

Knowledge of cold chain management and temperature-controlled transport

Effective team management, communication, and problem-solving skills

Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and logistics management tools

Ability to work in time-sensitive and fast-paced environments

Preferred Profile

2–4 years of experience in logistics/operations, ideally in diagnostics or last-mile delivery

Prior exposure to home sample collection logistics is highly preferred

Strong understanding of route planning and manpower supervision
