Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the movement, storage, and delivery of goods. This role ensures products are delivered on time, in the correct quantity, and at the lowest possible cost while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of goods
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or delays
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
  • Identify ways to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or transportation
  • Ability to solve problems and work under deadlines
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Excel, email, tracking systems)

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (higher education in logistics, business, or supply chain is a plus)
  • Previous experience in logistics or operations is an advantage but not always required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
