The E-Commerce Logistics Executive will oversee the end-to-end dispatch process for online orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries through third-party logistics (3PL) partners. This role involves coordinating daily order dispatches, managing courier relationships, tracking shipments, resolving delivery issues, and maintaining service quality to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Dispatch Management
- Coordinate daily order fulfillment and dispatch operations for all online platforms (website, marketplaces, etc.).
- Schedule and hand over shipments to third-party courier partners according to SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation before dispatch.
2. Coordination with 3PL Partners
- Liaise with multiple courier service providers to allocate shipments based on location, cost, and service quality.
- Monitor pickup and delivery performance; escalate delays or exceptions as needed.
- Negotiate rates, pickup schedules, and service improvements with logistics partners.
3. Tracking and Reporting
- Track all shipments in transit and update order statuses on internal systems and e-commerce portals.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch and delivery reports.
- Analyze logistics KPIs (on-time delivery rate, RTO %, cost per shipment, etc.) to improve performance.
4. Returns & Reverse Logistics
- Manage customer returns (RTO and replacement orders) efficiently through logistics partners.
- Ensure timely updates and accurate inventory reconciliation for returned products.
5. Process Improvement & Compliance
- Continuously optimize dispatch workflows for cost efficiency and faster turnaround.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, courier guidelines, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and sales teams for seamless operations.
