Busek is seeking a
Logistics, Import/Export Compliance Specialists to oversee the planning and organizing of all shipments and the preparation of all documents required for export/import, ensuring compliance with regulations. This position is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in logistics and export/import compliance within an aerospace or manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible, strategic position that will drive the coordination of all transportation and export/import compliance, ensuring the deliveries to customers exceed their requirements. The successful candidate will be a key liaison between Busek and its logistics partners and must stay up to date on changes in international trade regulations and communicate them to relevant parties.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with transportation carriers, freight forwarders and custom brokers to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of customer orders and supplier components to Busek.

Ensure compliance with laws and regulations relating to importing and exporting goods.

Process import/export licenses and permits for the transportation as required

Develop and maintain Busek’s International Trade Compliance procedures and processes.

Assess and mitigate risks associated with international trade

Coordinate with other departments within the organization to ensure on-time shipment and compliance.

Analyze logistics data, identifying inefficiencies and developing strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Maintain records and documentation related to import/export activities.

Maintain compliance with applicable FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; technical background required.

Minimum 5 years of logistics and export/import compliance experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.

Demonstrated experience in logistics software, inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

Strong business and financial acumen with strong experience working with legal.

Demonstrated experience in adhering to all local and international regulations pertaining to the export and import of goods, monitoring changes in regulations and ensuring compliance is updated.

Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, work well in a team environment, able to work in diverse environments and adhere to highest ethical standards
Preferred Qualifications:-
Experience supporting government contracts and working with FAR/DFARS requirements.

Background in engineering or technical program management.

Experience working in a small to mid-sized manufacturing company environment.
