Logistics / Freight Coordinator - Night Shift

A&Z Trucking is expanding, and we are hiring two weekend, night-shift Logistics/Freight Coordinators to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and computer skills, including MS Office Suite, along with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively via phone and email. At least one year in Logistics, with related experience is required.

The Logistics /Freight Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Logistics Account Manager (LAM) with all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure the customers’ needs are met effectively and efficiently. This includes being in constant communication with Carriers/Drivers, and updating other members of the Logistics Account Team to ensure the customer stays informed with critical information.

• Friday-Tuesday 5 pm-2am
• Thursday - Monday 5pm-2am

Essential Functions

• Provide quality customer service and be an effective liaison between the Account Management team, the Carrier Management team and our Carriers/Drivers to ensure all customer needs are met.
• You will be taking calls, managing shipments, accepting tenders from applicable TMS, building tenders into our internal TMS, scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments, and logging information accurately throughout the workday.
• Work closely with the Carrier Management team to ensure that carriers hired comply with the customer’s policies, procedures, and service requirements.
• Accurately record data into internal systems such as our TMS, Excel, and workflow checklists.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained through effective communication and nurturing customer relationships.
