Logistics In-charge

A Beverage Logistics In-charge manages the end-to-end flow of beverages, from warehouse storage and inventory control to efficient transportation and timely delivery, focusing on cost optimization, regulatory compliance (safety, alcohol laws), team leadership (drivers, warehouse staff), and vendor management, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and accurate reporting within the FMCG or hospitality sector. Key duties include inventory management, dispatch planning, route optimization, budget oversight, and problem-solving for issues like delays or damages, requiring strong skills in data analysis and leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Inventory Control: Maintain stock accuracy, conduct audits, manage stock levels, and prevent loss.
• Transportation & Distribution: Plan and manage efficient delivery routes, coordinate with carriers, and ensure timely delivery. All deliveries are managed through 3rd party logistics providers.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics coordinators.
• Cost & Budget Management: Control logistics budgets, optimize transport costs, and identify cost-saving initiatives.
• Vendor & Client Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers, transport providers, and handle customer logistics queries.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all safety, corporate, and regulatory standards (e.g., beverage handling laws).
• Reporting: Analyze logistics data, generate performance reports, and suggest improvements.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or practical experience.
• Experience: Proven experience in logistics, ideally in FMCG, food, or beverage industries.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, MS Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• The job will be based inside the Rashid Port in UAQ port. Hence candidates living in UAQ, or nearby Emirates preferred.
• Candidate should be able to join immediately, hence preferably on a visit visa
• This is an alcoholic beverage import/distribution company. Candidate should have no religious reservations towards the same.

Experience:

• hands-on managing a warehouse operations: 2 years (Required)
