Logistics Lead

We are seeking Logistics Lead for our global business partner.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Define and optimize end-to-end warehouse operational flows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with lean principles,
• Lead the implementation and stabilization of SAP EWM processes in collaboration with global and cross-functional teams,
• Ensure proper storage and system recording of raw materials and consumables in line with 5S, ergonomic, and lean standards,
• Oversee inventory handling processes by enforcing FIFO and FEFO picking strategies through SAP EWM,
• Develop and implement production line supply standards, including:
• Milkrun organization
• Dynamic shelving systems
• Kanban applications
• Drive operational excellence by ensuring adherence to defined standards and continuous monitoring of material flow.

Team Leadership & Training

• Train and coach warehouse operators on SAP EWM usage and best practices,
• Ensure high engagement and capability building of shop floor teams during system implementations and process changes.

Logistics Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Lead and follow up on logistics and supply chain projects to improve service levels and operational efficiency,
• Support and coordinate SAP MRP implementation, including preparation and validation of master data,
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain activities, focusing on cost optimization, lead time reduction, and productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills,
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment,
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills,
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal,
• Experience in renewable energy, wind turbine manufacturing, or heavy industrial operations is highly preferred,
• Knowledge of international transportation, customs processes, and import/export regulations is an asset,
• Experience leading logistics teams and driving operational excellence through performance management and KPI tracking.
