Logistics Manager

Purpose of the Position :

1. Freight Costs, Efficient Transportation Models & Control Tower.
2. Monitor and develop distribution metrics of all channels/lines of business.
3. Implementation of effective logistics & improve efficiency on cost and savings parameters.
4. Drive the productivity and savings agenda in primary freight & secondary freight.
5. Work with the central supply chain planning team to ensure service levels and LFR and QFR.

Role & responsibilities

1. Oversee the transportation of frozen and chilled goods nationally.
2. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in the cold chain logistics
3. Ensure compliance with temperature control and another regulatory requirements
4. Drive productivity and efficiency parameters for TRAILER transportation from factories to ports.
5. Monitor and improve transportation efficiency across the network.
6. Develop and implement strategies to enhance freight and transportation efficiency.
7. Build and implement processes for primary and secondary transportation for domestic movements for frozen, chilled, and dry movement.
8. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for transportation activities.
9. Monitor vehicle performance and implement strategies to optimize utilization.
10. Manage all transportation-related bills and payments & ensure timely and accurate processing of transportation invoices and payments
