Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all logistics operations (inbound and outbound).
• Optimize transportation and distribution networks to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, material handling, and storage.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
• Negotiate with transporters, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers.
• Implement logistics strategies aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Monitor and analyze key logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, freight cost, turnaround time, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, E-way bills, and other statutory requirements.
• Manage logistics budgeting, cost control, and vendor performance evaluation.
• Lead and mentor logistics and warehouse teams for high productivity and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and production teams for timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience: 8–12 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or power systems industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics software (ERP/SAP/WMS/TMS).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Good understanding of statutory requirements related to logistics (GST, transport, etc.).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
