Logistics Manager– Prism Electric

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming tools, equipment, and material in accordance with company protocols.
  • Purchase materials as directed, utilizing vendor partners, with the cooperation of the project leadership staff.
  • Organize, label, and store tools, equipment, and material in designated locations within the warehouse and project sites as required.
  • Quarterly conduct physical inventory counts of tools and equipment and reconcile discrepancies with recorded data.
  • Conduct or oversee monthly project site tool audits.
  • Coordinate tool requirements with field staff to ensure adequate stock is maintained and available when needed.
  • Oversee the management of department tools.
  • Maintain asset tagging and labeling systems to uniquely identify and track tools.
  • Keep detailed records of asset movement, usage, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and project sites to ensure timely and accurate allocation of tools.
  • Coordinate prefabrication orders and deliveries for various project sites.
  • Prepare and fulfill orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of shipments, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Delivery of tools, equipment and materials to various project sites.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other relevant departments.
  • Using a combination of text, calls, and emails and MS Office programs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements related to inventory and asset management.

Qualifications:

  • Oklahoma Drivers License
  • Clean MVR
  • Must be able to operate company vehicles and include pulling and maneuvering trailers.
  • This position will require frequent travel within the state of OK, and occasionally TX.

The job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, and rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses always), respirator when required. Able to work 8 -10 hours per day, 40 hours per week and possible overtime. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 49 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required. Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
