Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities

Logistics

· Plan and manage daily logistics Jobs.

· Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers and partners.

· Negotiate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies for different contract & services.

· Manage transportation schedules and optimize routes to reduce cost and lead time.

Customs & Compliance (UAE-Specific)

· Handle UAE customs documentation, clearance procedures, and coordination with freight forwarders.

· Ensure compliance with UAE laws, Dubai Customs, Abu Dhabi Customs, Sharjah & UAQ Customs, Free Zone Authority requirements (JAFZA, DAFZA, AD Ports, etc.).

· Manage import/export paperwork, HS codes, certificates of origin, and inspection processes.

· Knowledgeable in SIRA, FANR, MOCCAE

Reporting & Systems

· Use WMS systems for inventory, shipments, and KPIs.

· Prepare cost analysis, shipment reports, and logistics forecasts.

· Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

· 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in the UAE.

· Strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures, free zone rules, and import/export laws.

· Experience with logistics systems (WMS).

· Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
