Logistics Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager – Export to manage and oversee end-to-end export logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shipment planning, coordination with freight forwarders, documentation, and ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries in compliance with international trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end export logistics operations from factory/warehouse to destination port
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA, transporters, and warehouses
• Plan shipments and ensure on-time dispatch and delivery
• Handle and verify export documentation including Invoice, Packing List, BL, Shipping Bill, COO, etc.
• Ensure compliance with export laws, customs regulations, and international trade requirements
• Optimize logistics costs and negotiate rates with vendors
• Monitor shipment status and resolve transit or customs-related issues
• Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, finance, and production
• Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare MIS reports
• Handle claims related to shortage, damage, or delays

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in export logistics
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs clearance
• Experience in dealing with CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines
• Good understanding of port operations and international documentation
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics / ERP systems

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in agro commodities / manufacturing / export trading companies
• Knowledge of multimodal logistics and containerized shipments

Ability to handle high-volume shipments efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
