Logistics & Office Administrator for SEAFOOD WHOLESALE

Located in the heart of the historic Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 45 Seafoods is at the center of San Francisco's commercial fishing industry. We offload local, sustainable fishing boats, distribute premium seafood to other wholesalers, and act as a vital distribution hub for partners across the region. The Role:

Based in our Pier 45 office, you will be the administrative backbone of our early-morning operations. This is primarily an office-focused role managing our data, logistics, and finances, but you will be working directly alongside our active fish-handling crew. This is a dynamic, active environment—not a sterile corporate cubicle.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Office & Finance Administration: Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), invoicing, and billing.
• Software & Tracking: Utilize AccountEdge and Excel for meticulous data entry, inventory tracking, and shellfish compliance.
• Logistics Coordination: Handle time-sensitive logistics, coordinating with airlines and regional customers who rely on us for distribution.
• Customer Service: Take incoming calls, manage wholesale orders, and support our clients during peak morning hours.
• Team Support: As needed to check inventory, verify product tracking, or assist the team.

• Are intelligent, organized, and motivated with a keen attention to detail and care for product quality, sanitation, and safety.
• Have a sense of humor, affinity for an active workplace, and an appreciation for the real Fisherman’s Wharf.
• Are a team player and self-motivated—comfortable working independently when the pressure is on, but always ready to back up your teammates.
• Physical Capability: This is mainly a desk/office role, but you must be able to stand, bend, and occasionally lift up to 65 pounds when assisting with shellfish tracking or checking inventory on the floor.
• Commute: Must have reliable transportation for a 2:00 AM start time (Free parking is provided on-site).

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
