Logistics Officer for Import/Export

Manage the entire process of moving goods across borders,

Key Responsibilities

· Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, permits).

· Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, customs, carriers, suppliers, and internal sales/warehouse teams.

· Customs & Compliance: Ensure adherence to international trade laws, regulations, and customs procedures.

· Shipment Management: Book cargo, schedule transport, track shipments, and manage costs/budgets.

· Problem Solving: Address delays, damages, or discrepancies during transit.

· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate import/export transaction records and reports.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

Awareness of KEPZ procedure and lows.

· Import/Export Procedures: Deep understanding of international logistics.

· Regulations: Knowledge of customs laws and trade regulations.

· Software: Proficiency with logistics software, WEBOC, WMS, and MS Office (Excel).

· Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills (often fluent English).

· Organization: Strong ability to prioritize, manage details, and work procedurally.
