Job Title: Logistics Officer / Logistics Coordinator

Location: Dammam
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials efficiently. This role ensures timely delivery, cost-effective operations, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the transportation and distribution of goods.
  • Plan and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transportation costs.
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues.
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse operations, including storage and stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
  • Prepare reports on logistics performance and suggest improvements.
  • Handle customs documentation and import/export procedures when necessary.
  • Support procurement and supply chain teams with logistics-related tasks.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in logistics operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
  • Knowledge of logistics software, warehouse management systems, and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations is a plus.
