Logistics & Parts Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and dependable Logistics & Parts Coordinator to oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and parts order management. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining proper inventory levels, and managing parts orders from placement to delivery. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment and have excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
  • Process and fulfill outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, proper packaging, and on-time delivery.
  • Manage and track all parts orders, from sourcing and purchasing to delivery confirmation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, conducting regular counts and reconciling variances.
  • Organize and store materials, parts, and supplies for easy access and optimal space utilization.
  • Generate and process shipping documentation, packing slips, and purchase orders.
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure the right parts and materials are available for production and service needs.
  • Monitor shipment tracking and follow up on delays or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and shipping regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in logistics or supply chain preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or inventory control (parts management experience a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments.
  • Forklift/pallet jack operation experience (certification preferred).
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Mix of warehouse, shipping area, and office work.
  • Requires standing, walking, and light lifting throughout the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
