Position Overview and Responsibilities

We are a rapidly growing company with an immediate opening for a Logistics & Patient Care Coordinator at our Richfield, MN store. The Logistics & Patient Care Coordinator will follow the patient intake process & manage patient orders. This position is responsible for onboarding and processing new patients as well as managing in-store sales. In addition, equipment delivery, set up and maintaining equipment using company vehicles.

Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting effectively with patients, staff, and other departments. Employees in this role are expected to ensure a high level of service delivery by prioritizing customer satisfaction, resolving service issues, and adapting to the changing needs of the store on a day-to-day basis. This position will require on-site in-person work due to the nature of job duties. NOT REMOTE. Travel is done with company vehicle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up equipment, complete demonstrations, and educate patients/caregivers on proper and safe use.
  • Available for on-call assignments as needed (evenings and weekends)
  • Coordinates verification of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage information
  • Delivers, sets up and maintains equipment using company vehicles
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of products and services offered by the company and all applicable governmental rules & regulations
  • Educates the patient and/or caregiver on the safe use and maintenance of the delivered items
  • Maintain company vehicle cleanliness, perform daily safety checks per company standards
  • Assist with warehouse duties, inventory management, and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage all aspects of intake: answering calls and receiving faxes, collecting patient and referral source information, input data into CRM, printing delivery tickets and processing paperwork
  • Observes additional needs that the patient may have and reports to patient care coordinators
  • Prepares complete orders and accurate delivery tickets for Billing department
  • Completes all necessary delivery forms and paperwork
  • Provides service for walk-in patients
  • Display great customer service to patients and referral sources
  • Multitasking
  • Works with vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Be a team player. Assist other team members/teams when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

ENVIRONMENT:

  • Lift and carry office equipment at times
  • Frequent driving, entering/exiting vehicle, walking, and climbing stairs.
  • Working in a company vehicle some days and in patient homes and an office setting other days.
  • Additional time in warehouse as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a proactive individual who can multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain confidentiality
  • Competent computer skills (Experience with electronic medical record systems or CRM)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and the ability to adapt to new processes and system changes as needed in a growing environment

Employment is contingent upon:

  • Drug screening test (if applicable)
  • Background check
  • Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota with a clean driving record.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate/Bachelor Degree
  • Experience in Medical receptionist preferably with insurance verification or DME experience
  • One year of delivery driver experience

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
