Logistics Software Specialist

Overview
Join us as a Logistics Software Specialist and become a vital driver of our supply chain , and order management, excellence! In this dynamic role, you will leverage cutting-edge logistics management systems to optimize inventory control, warehouse distribution, transportation planning, and order fulfillment processes. In addition you will be in charge of managing a variety of sophisticated software that powers our order fulfillment process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage order fullfillment and inventory control software that integrate with each other such as ship station, SPS, Finale, Quick Books, and Shopify.
  • Manage the uploading of inventory from these software systems to channel partners such as Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, and many others assuring available inventory is always up to date and accurate.
  • Oversee the flow of inventory from ordering to shipping from overseas suppliers, to entry into the warehouse.
  • Utilize data analysis skills and supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance overall operations management.
  • Support procurement, sourcing, and purchasing activities by integrating logistics data with inventory management systems such as Finale.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and fleet management teams to ensure timely delivery and order fulfillment.
  • Assist in implementing transportation planning initiatives, including freight optimization, shipping & receiving schedules, and inventory replenishment strategies.

Experience

  • Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on logistics software solutions.
  • Strong background in inventory management, warehouse experience, and warehouse distribution processes.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management system (WMS), EDI software systems such as shipstation, Finale, SPS and others.
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives within logistics or operations management environments.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding, 3PL coordination, shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and materials handling techniques.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with proficiency in supply chain analytics tools to drive informed decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing, procurement, demand planning, pricing strategies, and category management is highly desirable. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.36 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
