The Logistics Solution Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, strategy, and continuous improvement of logistics technology solutions, with a primary focus on Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related supply chain platforms. This role acts as the bridge between Operations, IT, Customers, and Vendors, ensuring that technology solutions align with operational needs, customer requirements, and long-term business strategy.
The role requires a strong blend of product ownership, project management, customer engagement, and deep WMS domain expertise, with the ability to manage complex implementations, enhancements, and integrations in a fast-paced 3PL environment.
Product & Solution Ownership

Own the product roadmap for logistics solutions, with a strong focus on Blue Yonder WMS, including inbound, outbound, inventory, billing, reporting, and value-added services.

Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and configuration standards based on operational needs, customer requirements, and company growth strategy.

Serve as the primary product owner for WMS functionality across multiple warehouse facilities.

Ensure system configurations align with standardized processes, scalability goals, and best practices.
Blue Yonder WMS Leadership

Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Blue Yonder WMS functionality, configuration, and operational workflows.

Lead WMS customer onboarding, new account setup, and solution design, including templates, profiles, rules, and billing configurations.

Partner with Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure accurate inventory control, billing, and reporting within Blue Yonder.

Coordinate upgrades, patches, and new module enablement in collaboration with vendors and internal IT teams.
Project Management & Delivery

Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for WMS implementations, enhancements, and integrations.

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Finance, Vendors, and Customers.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, following agreed governance and change-management processes.

Manage UAT, cutover planning, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilization. Customer Engagement & Support

Act as a customer-facing solution leader, translating customer operational requirements into scalable WMS solutions.

Participate in customer discovery sessions, solution walkthroughs, and operational readiness reviews.

Provide high-level escalation support for customer-impacting issues related to WMS and logistics applications.

Ensure a strong customer experience by aligning system functionality with SLAs, KPIs, and service expectations.
Integration & Data Exchange

Collaborate with internal and external teams to support EDI and system integrations (e.g., 940, 945, 943, 944, 856, 997, etc.).

Ensure seamless integration between Blue Yonder WMS and other platforms such as TMS, YMS, ERP, and EDI providers.

Validate data accuracy, workflow alignment, and operational impact across integrated systems.
Governance, Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Maintain clear product documentation, SOPs, configuration guides, and process flows.

Establish and track KPIs related to system performance, customer satisfaction, implementation timelines, and adoption.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization across facilities.

Support audits, compliance requirements, and internal reviews related to logistics systems.
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
-
5+ years of experience in logistics systems, supply chain technology, or product management.

Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS or any WMS Platform (operational support).

Proven experience leading WMS implementations or major enhancements in a 3PL or warehouse environment.

Strong project management experience, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Demonstrated customer-facing experience supporting logistics or supply chain solutions.
Technical & Functional Skills

Deep understanding of warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, inventory, value-added services, billing).

Experience with EDI transactions and integrations related to WMS.

Familiarity with ERP, TMS, YMS, and reporting platforms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.

Experience working with vendors, consultants, and offshore teams. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a multi-facility 3PL environment.

Knowledge of Blue Yonder upgrades, modules, and billing functionality.

PMP, Scrum Product Owner, or similar project/product management certification.

Experience with process standardization and template-based onboarding.

Familiarity with Power BI, Cognos, or other logistics reporting tools.
