Position Overview

As an FTL Logistics Specialist at The Block Logistics, your primary focus will be coordinating and managing domestic full truckload shipments while delivering high-level customer service. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, book, track, and manage domestic full truckload (FTL) shipments
  • Communicate directly with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Proactively monitor shipments and resolve issues such as delays, service failures, or carrier exceptions
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to customers regarding shipment status
  • Review shipment details and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce freight costs

Qualifications & Expectations:

  • 1–2 years of logistics or transportation experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a team- and service-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Moderate computer proficiency (Email, Excel, Word; TMS experience a plus)
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision while collaborating effectively with a team

Additional Information:

Compensation is based on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position offering a competitive benefits package, including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, paid time off, and significant opportunities for long-term growth and advancement. Position will be in the office with the ability to WFH one day a week after the training period.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
