Logistics Specialist I

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics & Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support daily warehouse and transportation operations across multiple locations. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth communication between warehouse teams, carriers, customers, and overseas partners. Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.

Key ResponsibilitiesShipment & Transportation Coordination

• Coordinate inbound container arrivals and outbound shipments
• Schedule trucking, delivery appointments, and dock availability
• Track shipment status, load readiness, and delivery completion
• Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, warehouse teams, customers, and vendors
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, and dispatch issues

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Perform transaction updates, tracking, and inventory reconciliation
• Monitor warehouse capacity, pallet counts, and material flow
• Support transloading operations and multi-site warehouse coordination
• Assist with daily workflow planning and execution

Data Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain shipment logs, operational spreadsheets, and inventory records
• Track container movements, inbound/outbound activities, and operational performance
• Generate daily operational reports and ensure documentation accuracy

Problem Solving & Communication

• Identify and resolve discrepancies, damages, missing paperwork, and operational issues
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide shipment updates
• Escalate operational risks and support continuous process improvements
• Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with both English-speaking and Chinese-speaking stakeholders

QualificationsRequired

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, or supply chain
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred

• Experience in 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), freight forwarding, or container drayage
• Familiarity with transloading operations
• Experience with Extensiv or similar WMS platforms
• Experience coordinating multiple warehouse locations
• Knowledge of transportation scheduling and dispatch operations

Pay: $42,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
