Logistics Supervisor

Role Description


The Logistics Supervisor will oversee daily material flow operations across production, outside processing, inspection, and distribution to ensure alignment with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.


This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional activities, supporting team leads, and driving accountability across logistics operations. The Logistics Supervisor will work closely with production, quality, and customer service teams to resolve issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure on-time delivery performance.


Responsibilities include supervising team leads, optimizing workflows, identifying process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong floor presence, problem-solving, and decision-making in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to lead through team leads or indirect reports
  • Strong understanding of material flow within a manufacturing environment, including inventory, production support, and shipping/receiving
  • Experience coordinating across departments (production, quality, customer service, or supply chain)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements (Lean / Continuous Improvement experience preferred)
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and ERP systems (PLEX or similar systems preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Previous experience in manufacturing required; fastener or similar industry experience is a plus
