Logistics & Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary
MX8 International (Mingxuan Engineering & Trade) is seeking a highly organized Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead our operations in Al Ain. In this role, you will be the backbone of our trading and engineering division. You will manage the entire lifecycle of our products—from international procurement and freight forwarding to customs clearance and final delivery to our warehouse or client sites. You are the person who ensures that our projects never stop due to missing parts or delayed shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Import Management: Oversee the end-to-end import process. Manage freight forwarders (Sea/Air/Land) to ensure cost-effective and timely shipments from international suppliers to UAE ports (Jebel Ali / Khalifa Port).
• Customs & Compliance: Handle all documentation for UAE Customs clearance. You must be familiar with HS Codes, duty rates, and exemption processes to avoid demurrage and delays.
• Inventory Control: Manage the Al Ain warehouse operations. Implement stock tracking systems to ensure optimal levels of engineering spares and trading materials.
• Procurement Support: Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to forecast demand and negotiate pricing/terms with international suppliers.
• Logistics Coordination: Organize local transportation for the movement of goods from ports to Al Ain and subsequent delivery to client sites across the UAE.
• Cost Analysis: continuously monitor freight rates and logistics costs to improve the company’s margins.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in Supply Chain or Logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the Trading, Construction, or Engineering sectors.
• Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE Customs regulations, port procedures, and cross-border logistics. Experience with Mirsal 2 or Maqta Gateway is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Logistics. Certifications like CIPS or CILT are a plus.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Note: Proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage given our international supply network.
• Proficiency in Arabic is helpful for local authority interactions.
• Location: Must be based in Al Ain or willing to relocate.
