Logistics Supply Chain Specialist

We are looking for a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist who are responsible for the delivery and inspection of incoming material, central stores/warehousing of program and/or company-acquired material and packaging and shipping services. Provides packaging engineering support, special container design, packaging estimates and format quotes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of production and/or engineering.

• Responsible for the accountability and accuracy of physical records.

• Provides transportation of material and correspondence within the local Northrop Grumman business environment.

• Maintains functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

• Manages, develops, or conducts delivery in accordance with established local business policies, procedures, and public law.

• Ensures accuracy of delivery information.

• Ensures: finished goods inventories, non-proprietary government property inventory, transportation, import/export requirements, and customer returns in conjunction with business area personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role.

• Professional certification such as APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CSCA.

• Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).

• Proven experience in a supply chain role, preferably in the same industry.

• Strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex data, understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.

• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of industry- specific regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
