About the Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to assist the Supply chain and Logistics Manager/Deputy Responsible Person in maintaining effective, compliant operation of specialist FDA-licensed Facility, and associated international shipping/logistics, in relation to high value pharmaceutical and healthcare products.


What will your job look like?

  • Prepare products for dispatch, including picking, packing (temperature-controlled where required), and producing delivery documentation
  • Receive and check incoming stock, ensuring deliveries are correct and reporting any discrepancies, damage, or deviations
  • Ensure safe storage and handling of products within the warehouse, using equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts where applicable
  • Follow all company procedures and regulatory requirements, including Good Distribution Practice (GDP), to maintain quality and compliance
  • Maintain strict temperature control and storage conditions to ensure product integrity during storage and transportation
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective product delivery
  • Manage stock levels, including stock rotation, stock taking, and ensuring availability of packaging materials and temperature-controlled packaging
  • Support quality and compliance activities, including audits (FDA, customer, or supplier), temperature monitoring, cleaning, and documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks using company IT systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint
  • Support operational continuity by assisting the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, contributing to problem solving, continuous improvement, and responding to urgent or out-of-hours logistics issues


What will you need to succeed?

  • Previous experience in a similar GDP/GMP setting
  • Experience desirable, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment, with experience of ambient and chilled storage/supply chain requirements
  • Forklift truck licence
  • Experience of working to stringent quality standards, and keeping records demonstrating compliance
  • Ability to be on site 5 days a week
  • Ability to work 7am-3pm Monday to Friday
  • Solid communication both written and orally
  • Experience using Microsoft
