Logistics Support $22.00 – $26.00 DOE

Location: On-site — Cashmere, WA

Employment Type: Non-Exempt, Benefits Eligible
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $22.00 – $26.00 DOE

Summary/Objective

The Invoicing/Logistics Support plays a key role in supporting both accounts payable and transportation operations functions. This office‑based position focuses on processing freight invoices, validating charges, maintaining accurate vendor ledger entries, verifying shipping information, and assisting in tracking trucks and deliveries. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable maintaining optimal communications with internal teammates, vendors, and dispatchers in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

Invoicing & Documentation

  • Process all freight invoices and verify rates and charges.
  • Match invoices to supporting shipping and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain accurate vendor ledger entries.

Accounts Payable Support

  • Assist with vendor payment processing.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Follow up on missing or incorrect invoices.
  • Help resolve billing discrepancies with carriers and suppliers.

Issue Support

· Assist in investigating freight issues and billing inconsistencies.

Data Entry & Reporting

  • Update logistics and accounting systems with shipment status and delivery confirmations.
  • Enter invoice details and transportation metrics accurately.

Carrier & Vendor Communication

  • Communicate with freight companies, drivers, and suppliers.
  • Confirm delivery details and clarify charges.
  • Resolve service-related or billing issues.

Shipping & Receiving Support

  • Verify inbound and outbound shipment information.
  • Assist in resolving shipping and receiving discrepancies.

Logistics Network Support

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently learn logistics and distribution systems.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong planning, prioritizing, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Detail-Oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in English language.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with logistics or transportation processes and basic accounting principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft NAV or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.).

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Coursework in logistics, accounting, or business is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or accounts payable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Power Bi, etc.).

Physical Demands/Work Environment

· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
