What You’ll Do:
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and assist with basic diagnostics and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate and track routine service, repairs, and maintenance schedules for trucks and trailers
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, service history, and parts inventory
- Work closely with drivers, dispatch, and service vendors to ensure quick turnaround times
- Troubleshoot and help resolve fleet-related issues to minimize downtime
- Support compliance efforts by monitoring DOT standards and company safety policies
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and ready for use
- Assist with ordering parts, managing inventory, and performing minor repairs under supervision
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications like ASE are a plus)
- Experience in fleet maintenance, automotive support, or logistics operations is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic tools and fleet management systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively and work across teams
