POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager, Logistics and Operations Support, the Technician Assistant role performs a variety of basic repair, refurbishment and cleaning of all company medical devices. The Technician provides exceptional customer service and contributes to the overall patient experience while upholding compliance with all company policies and procedures, performance standards and defined operational performance measures.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain equipment operating by following operating instructions.
· Ability to troubleshoot breakdowns.
· Responsible for refurbishing inventory, repairing malfunctions and exchanging parts.
· Responsible for upgrading software and hardware.
· Responsible for maintaining supplies.
· Responsible for performing preventive maintenance.
· Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
· Must have the ability to troubleshoot multifaceted issues in a systematic manner.
· Ensures that all activities comply with company standards and government regulations (i.e. HIPAA, etc.).
· Performs other duties as assigned.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Minimum of 1-year relevant technical support experience.
· Prior experience using an electronic medical record preferred.
· Ability to work well without direct supervision.
· Experience working collaboratively as part of a team.
· Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to diagnose data and communicate problems.
· Must have a strong dedication to providing outstanding customer care and service.
· Ability to adapt to changing situations promptly and professionally to handle issues and concerns escalated.
· Ability to lift 20 pounds and use safety lifting equipment.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
