Hours: (M-F) 10:30am-6:30pm

Are you a proactive and dependable Family Assistant who enjoys balancing household support with caring for energetic children? A warm family in Alexandria is seeking a long-term Family Assistant to begin in August to care for their two children, ages 7 and 2. Their oldest attends school full-time, and their toddler will begin preschool in September, creating a great balance of family assistant responsibilities and active time with the children. The role includes errands, grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry, and helping keep the home organized and running smoothly. The family is looking for someone who also genuinely enjoys engaging with children, as both kids are playful, energetic, and involved in activities like soccer and piano. A Spanish speaker would be a wonderful bonus, and comfort around dogs is essential, as the family has a large dog. This is an excellent opportunity for someone organized, warm, and hands-on who enjoys being an important part of a busy and loving household.

Qualifications⁣

• 3 years of recent childcare/family assistant experience⁣
• Must be legal to work in the US
• Must be local to the DC-metro area (DC, MD, VA)
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record & car⁣
• Must be comfortable around one dog

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
