Position Details

• Location: Ewa Beach, HI
• Child: Around 3 months, girl
• Start Date: Around the first week of July
• Schedule: 2 days weekly, approximately 15 hours per week
• Thursday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Potential schedule needs may include:

• May need some early morning starts, potentially as early as 5:00 AM
• Occasional schedule adjustments depending on Mom’s work schedule which she gets a month in advance
• Occasional weekend coverage only if needed based on the family’s schedule
• Parent Work Schedule: Schedule may vary month to month
• Pets: Two dogs in the home
• Driving Required: Reliable transportation required; child-related driving may be needed only with family approval

Responsibilities

The nanny’s primary responsibility will be providing safe, attentive, and loving care for the baby.

• Feeding baby prepared bottles and/or using freezer stash as needed
• Diaper changes
• Supporting naps, wake windows, and daily rhythm
• Engaging baby through age-appropriate play
• Reading books, singing songs, playing music, and supporting developmental milestones
• Taking baby on walks when weather and routine allow
• Keeping baby safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the shift
• Providing end-of-shift updates to the family
• Communicating any concerns, changes, or notable updates promptly

Light Household Support

As time permits and only after baby’s care and safety are prioritized, the nanny may help with light baby-related tasks such as:

• Washing bottles
• Cleaning bottle-feeding items
• Baby laundry
• Tidying baby’s play areas or nursery after use
• Keeping baby’s items organized

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $25/hr

• CPR and First Aid certified
• Strong references from recent nanny or infant care roles
