Long-Term Live-In Nanny (Family Car Provided + Private Accommodations)

Responsibilities

• Daily Routines: Get the older girls ready for Kindergarten and daycare in the morning. Manage nap time routines for the little ones.
• Transportation & Outings: Drive the girls to and from daycare/Kindergarten. Take them to fun local activities, classes (swimming, gymnastics, library story time), and park adventures.
• Meal Prep & Tidy Up: Prepare basic meals for the children (primarily breakfast) and handle light cleanup after the kids' activities.
• Pet Care: Feed our friendly Golden Retriever once a day and let her out into our fully fenced backyard.
• Sick Care: Provide attentive care for the children even when they are down with a mild illness.

Requirements & Ideal Candidate

• Experience: Proven experience caring for both toddlers and infants.
• Personality: Creative, energetic, a good role model, and comfortable with full autonomy during the day.
• Engaged Play: Someone who loves music, singing, arts and crafts, and imaginative roleplay.
• Safety: Must be a swimmer (for supervising swim classes/outings).
• Health & Vaccines: Open to standard vaccinations, including the annual flu shot. If you do not have the Covid vaccine, proof of a previous infection is suitable.

Schedule & Core Hours

This position features a dynamic schedule designed around physician hours, offering full autonomy during the day on weekdays:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Split Shift): 6:45/7:00 AM – 9:30 AM AND 3:00 PM – 5:30/6:00 PM.
• Tuesday & Thursday: 6:45/7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Weekends: Occasional 3–4 hours on Saturdays or Sundays (pre-arranged at least 1 month in advance).
• Flexibility to pick up additional, mutually agreed-upon hours is a plus!

About the Family

A busy, welcoming dual-physician family in Shoreview is looking for a kind, high-energy, and reliable live-in nanny to join their household long-term. We are looking for someone who will truly become part of our extended family! We have three beautiful daughters: a 5-year-old, a 2-year-old, and a newborn (who will be 4 months old when the position begins).

Completing our family is a sweet, loving Golden Retriever who is deeply bonded with the girls. She sleeps a lot of the day but loves treats and being near her humans, so you must love large dogs!
