Long-Term Nanny / Family Assistant Position
A dual physician household is seeking a dependable, proactive nanny/family assistant to support one school-age child and help keep the home running smoothly. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, creating structure, and balancing childcare with household support. Experience with high-energy children, ADHD, or behavioral redirection is strongly preferred.
Childcare Responsibilities
- Care for one child- age 9
- Morning routine support, including breakfast, school preparation, and transportation
- After-school care, transportation to activities, and homework support
- Encouraging outdoor play, creativity, and limited screen time
- Providing calm, structured guidance with clear boundaries and consistency
- Supporting social-emotional growth, communication, and problem-solving

Family Assistant Duties
During school hours and designated family assistant blocks, responsibilities may include:
- Family laundry and light household organization
- Grocery shopping and household errands
- Meal prep for the family
- Light kitchen clean-up and dishes
- Occasional pet care, including letting dogs out, short walks, and basic care**These are proposed schedules- hours can be flexible for the family assist role. Please inquire about the schedule if you are interested.
School-Year Schedule (Approx. 26 Hours/Week)
- Monday: 6:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Tuesday: 6:00 AM–1:00 PM + 3:00–5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Friday: 1:00–5:00 PM
Summer Schedule (Approx. 30–32 Hours/Week)
Alternating weekly schedule with longer childcare days and dedicated family assistant coverage to maintain consistency year-round. Summer hours may transition into a fuller schedule as needs evolve.
