Responsibilities

  • Implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, ensuring continuity of instruction during the long-term absence of the regular teacher
  • Develop engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote literacy and social-emotional growth in young children
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Foster strong communication with students, colleagues, and parents to support student progress and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with school staff on curriculum development initiatives and participate in team meetings to ensure instructional consistency

Qualifications

  • Prior classroom experience in educational settings is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new classroom environments and manage behavior proactively

Job Type: Temporary
