West Bridgewater Middle-Senior High School is seeking a dynamic Long Term Substitute candidate to teach Video Production courses in grades 712.Students in the program produce individual and collaborative work across a range of formats, including PSAs, commercials, broadcast news and sports, live programming, documentaries, music videos, and short-form film, just to name a few. We have students that continue their studies in college, majoring in video production, film, and media studies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver engaging, project-based lessons in video production and media creationWith support, create and document thoughtful lesson plans aligned with curriculum goalsTeach the full production process, including pre-production, production, and post-productionSupport students in developing professional skills through hands-on and work-based learning experiencesCoordinate the scheduling of student productions for school and community broadcast, including collaboration with WB-CAMCommunicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progressMaintain a structured, supportive, and positive classroom environmentManage multiple student projects across varying skill levels and interests
