Duties

• Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, or paratransit vans to transport clients to medical appointments and other non-emergency destinations
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support as needed for individuals with mobility challenges
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure safety and comfort for all passengers
• Communicate clearly with clients to confirm destinations, provide updates, and address any special needs or concerns
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times
• Complete trip logs, mileage reports, and vehicle inspection checklists accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with dispatchers and coordinators to optimize routes and schedules for efficiency

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with shuttle driving, bus driving, or limousine services preferred
• Experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling equipment
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety
• Familiarity with paratransit operations or school bus driving is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, helpful attitude
• Ability to stay alert during long shifts and manage multiple stops efficiently
