We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Class A Driver specialized in Reefer (refrigerated trailer) operations to join our dynamic transportation team in California. Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer with refrigerated (reefer) units across designated routes within California and beyond.
• Safely load and unload freight, including handling refrigerated cargo with care to maintain proper temperature controls.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, including checking refrigeration units, brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
• Manage route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and any route adjustments needed.

Skills

• Proven experience driving tractor-trailers with refrigerated trailers (reefer), flatbeds, tankers or similar heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and truck driving best practices.
• Ability to handle freight securely during load & unload operations while maintaining safety standards.
• Familiarity with route driving across California with excellent navigation skills.
• Experience operating additional equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
