Job Title: Demi Chef

Job Summary
The Demi Chef assists the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes. The role ensures consistency, hygiene, and efficiency in daily kitchen operations while supporting smooth service and maintaining standards set by the Executive Chef.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all dishes are presented properly and consistently before leaving the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the workstation at all times.
- Support the Chef de Partie in daily operations and during busy service periods.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to the Chef de Partie.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Work cooperatively with the team to meet service goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
