Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead/Kitchen Barista to join our vibrant café team. Responsibilities

• Lead the café team by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling.
• Oversee food preparation and food handling procedures to maintain safety standards and quality.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, cashiering, and retail math calculations during transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Support sales initiatives by promoting menu items and upselling where appropriate.
• Uphold food safety standards through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and familiarity with café operations.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales reporting.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
