Looking for SAS Developer/Analyst

We are seeking an experienced SAS professional with over 7 years of expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS SQL, SAS Macros, SAS EG, SAS DI, SAS Studio) and proven experience in handling large datasets, analytics, and business reporting.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and optimize SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

* Build, validate, and maintain statistical models to support business decisions.

* Create and automate data pipelines and reporting dashboards using SAS tools.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, data scientists, IT) to define requirements and deliver insights.

* Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity.

* Develop and document technical specifications, processes, and workflows.

* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior SAS developers.

* Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* 7+ years of hands-on SAS programming experience.

* Strong knowledge of Base SAS, SAS Macros, SQL, and SAS Enterprise Guide.

* Experience with SAS DI Studio / ETL processes.

* Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, database management (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.).

* Proficiency in statistical analysis, regression, forecasting, and predictive modeling.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Experience working in domains such as Banking, Healthcare, Pharma, Insurance, or Retail is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

* Exposure to SAS Viya / SAS Visual Analytics.

* Familiarity with Python / R / SQL integration with SAS.

* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP for SAS deployments.

* Experience in regulatory reporting (FDA, HIPAA, Basel, etc.) is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,660.69 - ₹59,947.12 per month
