Job Description: Server – Upscale Korean BBQ

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests, explain the premium Korean BBQ dining experience, and guide menu selections with expert product knowledge.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly, maintaining an upscale service pace.
  • Perform tableside grilling with precision, ensuring proper doneness and presentation for high-quality cuts of meat.
  • Maintain safety by monitoring grills, preventing hazards, and educating guests on safe grill use.
  • Ensure a clean and organized table setup throughout service, adhering to fine-dining standards.
  • Upsell featured dishes, premium beverages, and seasonal items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, efficient, and professional service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a full-service restaurant (Korean BBQ experience strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with Korean cuisine and grilling techniques (specialized training provided).
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and high-end guest engagement skills.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and customer-focused with a professional appearance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
  • All servers are required to complete an eight-week paid training program, during which they will focus on mastering supportive roles and building a strong foundation of skills. Upon successful completion, they will transition into full-time server responsibilities.

We are looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Busser to join our team. In an upscale KBBQ environment, the Busser plays a critical role in maintaining the flow of the dining room and ensuring our guests always have a clean, inviting space to enjoy their meal.

Responsibilities:

  • Clear tables promptly after guests depart and reset them according to upscale service standards.
  • Assist servers with clearing empty plates, glassware, and side dish (banchan) refills during service.
  • Change out grill plates efficiently and safely throughout the meal.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors and service stations.
  • Support the front-of-house team by water carafes and assisting with light food running when needed.
  • Ensure all condiments and tabletop essentials are stocked and spotless.
  • Trash removal and assisting with basic closing cleaning duties.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Team-player attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed.
