Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods to clients and distribution centres
• Load and secure cargo appropriately to prevent damage during transit
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays
• Adhere strictly to driving hours regulations and maintain compliance with all legal requirements for commercial drivers

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, preferably with flatbed or commercial vehicles
• Valid driving licence suitable for operating large goods vehicles (LGV) or HGV licence preferred
• Delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of road safety and traffic laws
• Good organisational skills with the ability to plan efficient routes
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during long shifts
• Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and secure cargo as needed
